Joel Fulton’s practice specializes in civil litigation, including insurance defense, contractual issues, premises liability, defense of governmental entities, and appellate matters, in federal and state courts.
Joel was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Emory University, where he was a member of the Barkley Forum Debate Team.
Prior to joining Wells, Anderson & Race, LLC, Mr. Fulton served as Senior Judicial Law Clerk to Nebraska Supreme Court Justice Jeffrey J. Funke. Mr. Fulton’s judicial clerkship experience includes serving as Senior Staff Attorney to the eight judges of the Lancaster County District Court in Lincoln, Nebraska. Following law school, Mr. Fulton clerked for Hon. Tamara Russell in Jefferson County District Court in Golden, Colorado.
Joel is a Member-at-Large of the Executive Committee for the Appellate Practice section of the Nebraska State Bar Association, and a member of the NSBA Practice and Procedure Committee.
Joel enjoys hiking, basketball, chess, and his Australian Shepherd Ziggy.
