Representative Experience Includes:

• Obtained summary judgment on the basis of issue preclusion against an employee of a state agency suing a third party for tortious interference with contract

• Lead attorney defending and successfully resolving claims brought by twenty-six tenant-plaintiffs against a property management company on various claims arising from a fire and subsequent asbestos removal, allegations of housing discrimination, premises liability and uninhabitable housing conditions

• Represented a local housing authority, assisting with tenant and employment issues and in resolving a Federal lawsuit involving employment claims, within the limits of the authority’s insurance

• Co-defense counsel in legal malpractice claims

• Successfully resolved or tried many third-party claims of personal injury and property damages arising from automobile accidents

• Defended a major retailer in various claims including  premises liability and false arrest

• Represented workers’ compensation carriers and self-insured’s from the hearing level through appellate proceedings against various claims including claims arising from injuries and occupational diseases, heart attacks and toxic fumes
