Commercial Litigation/Construction Defect Litigation

We have been involved in many different types of commercial litigation, including significant contract disputes. Frequently, this litigation has involved construction or franchise issues. We successfully defended the position of the owner of a major ski resort in a contract dispute concerning the sale of the resort. Our construction litigation has involved public building roof cases, the defense of contractors and subcontractors in construction defect actions brought by town home and condominium associations, expansive soil cases, water damage, and claims of defects in community housing projects. Our franchise litigation has included representation of manufacturers of heavy equipment and franchisees in the food industry.
